A Letter to My Future Doula Client,
If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re preparing to welcome a new life into the world — and I want you to know I’m already rooting for you.
My name is Hannah, and I’m a birth and postpartum doula. This work is more than a career to me — it’s a calling and a purpose, one I feel deeply connected to.
I was first drawn to this path after watching people I love walk through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I witnessed the raw, real emotions that show up in those spaces: the joy, the fear, the doubt, the overwhelming medical information, the deep vulnerability. I saw how much support was truly needed and how little there often was — not just in the delivery room, but in the months before and after. So I started learning everything I could. I wanted to be the person others could lean on — the steady hands, the calm voice, the advocate when things felt overwhelming.
That search led me to doula work, and from the moment I discovered it, I knew: this is what I’m meant to do. To walk with families during one of the most powerful transitions of their lives, to remind them that they are never alone and that they are made for this.
My hope that is when a family looks back on their birth and postpartum period, they feel nothing but love, warmth, comfort, and a sense of pride. It is one of life's greatest honors and privileges to be welcomed into this experience with families on some of the most important days of their lives.

What will having Hannah on your birth team look like?
Prenatal Visits
Once we've gone through a free consultation (your choice of video chat or phone call) and you've decided that I'm the doula for you, we will schedule your first prenatal visit. During this visit, we'll discuss all things labor and delivery and, if you'd like, practice positions and comfort measures for the big day!
Birth Plan Building
We will build a birth plan so me, you, birth partners, and providers are all on the same page about what you are comfortable with, and what your wishes and goals are during labor and delivery.
Labor Support
When it's finally baby day (yay!), I will accompany you throughout labor, delivery, and the first few hours postpartum; providing physical and emotional support for you and your partner. I'll be there to answer any questions you have, and help you navigate this exciting but sometimes overwhelming day.
